About me
Born in France, Ben’s photography career began in the 80’s when he won his first prize at 11 years old, in a worldwide Fujifilm photography contest.
In years 2000, traveling around the world as an airline pilot, Ben started to conceptualise a lifetime journey around a trilogy: The Air, Life and Space Odysseys.
At the same time, Ben was shooting for a variety of fashion editorial publications and creating images for advertising campaigns. Influenced a lot by the blue sky and white clouds surrounding during his flight time, he was once titled as “Blue and White” photographer. (Lis Mag, 2009).
Aviation is a huge part of my life. For me it is probably the most sophisticated sphere of life which represents the pick of human intelligence and a mix of all most advanced technologies. Aviation is beautiful! It has opened so many boundaries for people and it was inspiring me in work during long years” – says Ben Lê.
Since 2009, Ben remains active in Fashion, but decided to reduce his participation in commercial photography by focusing more on fine art images and continue his journey around his own Odysseys.
